In all seriousness, though, it might be fair to put dating—or “going out” as many middle schoolers say—near the top of the list.
An interest in being more than friends is one of many signs your tween is entering adolescence.
Even though im on this side i have a side on both dating in middle school as long as it dosent go to far its a good experance to go through before you get in high school. You cant drive anywhere to go on a date, unless you parents want to bring you, but most of the time the parents just want to watch your every step with your girlfriend/boyfriend... I don't know if middle schoolers would be mature enough to handle an ACTUAL relationship.alone puberty and school...
13, 14 is the perfect age to do pre dating- the holding hands in the hall, walking her home, the LITTLE PECK check, lips is something everyone should experance before hitting the confusion high school. I don't think it is important but i don't think it's bad if you have a girlfriend or boyfriend in middle school. I mean if you break up you might get hurt a little emotionally but its not like many relationships in middle school are going to last.
You should also be talking about the appropriate age or circumstance for different levels of physical contact.
